Columbus Elementary School (Glendale USD)

This installation replaced all of this site’s existing portable classrooms and a portion of the site’s legacy “finger buildings" classrooms.  The scope included supply and installation of one DSA Pre-Approved, two story, 18 classroom building and one DSA Pre-Approved , two story, 12 classroom building (totaling  50,000 square feet) and associated sitework.  Six standard classrooms were customized to provide four larger sized kindergarten classrooms.  The schedule duration for in-plant prefabrication and installation and sitework construction was ten months with completion occurring in December, 2008.
