Installations
Montebello High School (Montebello USD)
This installation replaced virtually all of the existing portable classrooms on this 1940’s vintage high school campus. The scope included two DSA Pre-Approved, Two Story, 14 classroom Plantcrafted Buildings® (totaling 45,000 square feet) and three acres of associated sitework. Six standard classrooms were customized to provide four larger sized physical science laboratories. This project was the first project in the state of California to qualify for supplemental funding under the Proposition 1D High Performance Incentive Grant (HPIG) and also the first manufactured building to qualify a project for the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) "Designed" certification. The schedule duration for in-plant prefabrication and installation and sitework construction was eleven months with completion occurring in August, 2008.
